Our submission process is open to anyone,
regardless of age, gender, or professional
background. Whether you're a student,
entrepreneur, researcher, or simply passionate
about innovation, we encourage you to
participate.
We welcome submissions of ideas and
innovations from any individuals or
organizations whose submissions have:
Whether you are based in Chhattisgarh or any
other state within India, we encourage your
startup to join us and showcase your
groundbreaking ideas.
We extend a warm invitation to startups from all
across India and not limited to Chhattisgarh, to
participate in our initiative.
While we appreciate the local talent and
potential of Chhattisgarh, we embrace the spirit
of innovation and entrepreneurship from all
corners of India. We believe in fostering a
diverse and inclusive community of innovators.
The submissions are evaluated by independent
experts from various domains who have experience
in evaluating startup ideas/business
plans/business pitch. They are drawn from
various areas like financial institutions, the
VC community, large startup investors, large
consulting firms, Reputed B schools, and so on.
To ensure the evaluation is consistent and
generally objective, these experts are provided
with well-defined criteria with allocated
weightages based on which they rate submissions
They will be informed through email from time to time, or may send mail to [email protected] with subject line “startup-status of my submission” and we will respond within 3 working days.
Yes. There will be a new template that will be
made available to those startups shortlisted.
This will require more detailed data,
information on various aspects, strategic plans
for the future, extensive analytics and detailed
and realistic projections.
We are planning to conduct a one-day workshop to
help promoters with this second-round pitch
document. Anyone startup interested can join the
session. Details of the session will be informed
to the shortlisted startups through email.
This will be evaluated by a select panel of eminent judges who will then recommend pitching in front of investors.
These select funding round proposals are then
sent to multiple VC’s / HNI’s / Angel investors.
Wherever investors express interest to consider
investing further, RUBI will coordinate and
facilitate one-on-one meetings between the
investors and promoters. In case multiple
investors show interest, they may get an
opportunity to present to a group of investors
too during the event.
RUBI will coordinate and track these engagements
and there will be a logical conclusion to the
meetings and discussions.
Further the top 10 projects may get an
opportunity to go on stage (subject to
availability of time) in the finale event in the
presence of dignitaries, investors, experts and
other attendees and make a pitch for their
business and investments
Besides these two massive benefits, funding
round proposals will also be presented to an
official management committee of RUBI, and
meritorious projects will be selected for seed
funds grants / soft loans.
At no stage is there an assurance of investment
of any kind. It is entirely upon the startup to
present its case and project impactfully. It
will be a huge platform where your project can
be showcased to multiple investors in a
structured way. RUBI will help you navigate
through this process.
For startups, this presents a massive
opportunity to gain visibility, funding,
contacts, and leads but there are no guarantees.
This is absolutely free for startups
Absolutely. The exhibition and the stall are open to all. But you will have to buy space if you want to display it in the exhibition.
Yes, there will be awards and recognition. The awards and recognition are purely based on the judgment of the judges.
No. These awardees are for specific categories like (a) best women entrepreneur (b) best in social cause (c) Best Startup overall (d) Best project from a student (e) Best Agrifood Innovator project. Investors will use different yardsticks for investment and it is entirely up to the startups and investors to arrive at funding agreements.
We will provide a limited number of meeting rooms which are allocated based on FCFS basis. There will be informal space settings like lawns, canteens and so on with tables where such demo’s may be conducted.
You are requested to submit your startup proposals to participate in this summit event on or before 12 midnight on 31st August 2023.
